The plus pages of this full-colour book mark a milestone in European travel writing. It was Arthur Frommer who first set off an avalanche of travel to Europe, and whose subsequent writings and commentary have constantly expanded that market.Non-fiction books about Turkey or produced by Turkish writers (social science & humanities) Score A book’s total score is based on multiple factors, including the number of people who have voted for it and how highly those voters ranked the book.A good guidebook allows you to play "tour guide" and brings Europe's museums to life.

I am amazed by the many otherwise smart people who base the trip of a lifetime on a borrowed copy of a three-year-old guidebook. The money they save in the bookstore is wasted the first day of their trip, searching for buses that no longer run and restaurants.
